The simple answer is yes. Waxing is a slightly uncomfortable experience but we try to make it as easy and quick as possible. The results of waxing as compared to shaving are the reason people want to come back every 4-6 weeks!

At StudioWAX LLC, we want all of our clients to have quality care in a timely manner. A cancellation policy is necessary to achieve this goal and keep StudioWAX running smoothly.

Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation ensures we can give another client access to timely care. This policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our clientele.

When you book with StudioWAX, time has been specifically reserved for your appointment, procedure, or treatment. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must call or text at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you provide notice less than 24 hours before your appointment, you will be required to pay a 50% missed appointment fee. Arriving more than 15 minutes late to your appointment will be considered a no-show, and the same 50% fee will be required.

We ask that you allow your hair to grow to be about a quarter of an inch long or the length of a grain of rice. This length ensures that our wax can adhere to the hair and makes it an easier experience for you and our estheticians.

When receiving a waxing service, it is possible that your hair may be too short to complete the service. If you have concerns about the length of your hair, still plan to come in for your scheduled appointment. The esthetician performing your service will be able to tell you whether or not your hair is the correct length. If you cancel your appointment for this reason, the policies outlined in our cancellation policy still stand. You can read our cancellation policy above.

Yes! Our estheticians don’t mind doing your wax while you’re on your period as long as you are comfortable with it! If you are not comfortable with that, that is just fine! However, we don’t take cancellations less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment if the reason for the cancellation is for your period. We ask that you let us know ahead of time, or wear a tampon!

This question kind of depends on your personal hair growth. Typically for waxes below the belt line, it is recommended that you see us every 4-6 weeks. For facial waxing, it’s 3-4 weeks.

We recommend getting your lashes fill every 2 weeks.
