Cancellation Policy:
At StudioWAX LLC, we want all of our clients to have quality care in a timely manner. A cancellation policy is necessary to achieve this goal and keep StudioWAX running smoothly.
Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation ensures we can give another client access to timely care. This policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our clientele.
When you book with StudioWAX, time has been specifically reserved for your appointment, procedure, or treatment. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must call or text at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you provide notice less than 24 hours before your appointment, you will be required to pay a 50% missed appointment fee. Arriving more than 15 minutes late to your appointment will be considered a no-show, and the same 50% fee will be required.
Client Consent:
- I am aware of the side effects including, but not limited to: allergic reaction, irritation, redness, burning, swelling, soreness, bruises, or bumps.
- I am aware certain medications and over the counter products can increase the risk of injury when combined with skin care services. I am not using any medications that may cause such injury/reaction. I will advise my esthetician if this changes.
- I have been off of Accutane for at least 12 months, and I am not using Retin-A, any products containing alpha hydroxyl, or doing any other skin thinning treatments.
- I have not used a scrub, take home micro-dermabrasion, glycolic peels, other peels, exfoliated, or tanned in the last 72 hours.
- I do not have any open skin lesions or active herpes outbreak (cold sore or genital).
- I agree to adhere to all safety post care including: no peels, tanning or wet room services, no swimming/spas/hot tubs for 72 hours after waxing; and all home skin care protocols as recommended by my service provider.
- For Brazilian and/or bikini waxing, I will notify my service provider if I am on my menstrual cycle.
- I understand that my esthetician has the right to refuse services for all waxing if proper hygiene is not followed.
- I am over 18 years of age or I have parental consent co-signed below.
